Broker
Hudig & Veder serves as broker, bringing ship and cargo together, and takes care of the transport by sea from A to B. Hudig & Veder specialises in the carriage of minerals, grains, animal feed and (oversized) general cargo or project cargo from Northern Europe via the Mediterranean to the Black Sea.
Freight contracting
In addition to its role as broker, Hudig & Veder acts as freight contractor. This involves taking over the complete transport obligation with a fixed price guarantee, a departure and arrival guarantee and, if necessary, transhipment and storage. This could take the form of a one-off agreement or long-term contracts.
